Discover Las Alpujarras
A region of whitewashed villages along the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, an area known for farmlands fed by constant snowmelt, creating a lush contrast to the arid foothills below. Once the last stronghold of the Moors, its fifty villages are rich in history and culture.
After a photo stop at Presa de Rules and a pass through Órgiva, you’ll arrive in Pampaneira, nearly 5,000 feet above sea level. The village is famed for its Berber-style architecture, clusters of grey-white homes reminiscent of Morocco’s Rif. Enjoy a tasting of local tapas and some free time to explore before returning to the port of Motril.

Through dance, song, and guitar, flamenco expresses stories of love, struggle, and heritage, deeply rooted in Andalusian culture. After the performance, you will reboard your coach and return to the pier.

Tapestry & Traditions of Granada
This tour offers a different perspective on Granada, beginning in the Albaicín, one of the city’s most traditional neighborhoods, where you will enjoy stunning views of the Alhambra. Continue to the Alcaicería, once a Moorish silk market and now a maze of narrow streets filled with artisan shops.
Visit the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel, where the Catholic Monarchs are buried. The Cathedral, built between the 16th and 18th centuries, combines Gothic foundations with Renaissance architecture. After your guided tour, enjoy free time to explore Granada at your leisure before returning to the ship.
